The Water Net, known in Japan as the Oyo Getcha (オヨゲッチャー) is a Gadget first appearing in Ape Escape. It's a water version of the Time Net and changes form as soon as the character gets into the water to catch the monkeys that decided to take a dip. It also provides the player/character with breathing capabilities, a guide for aiming, and helping them swim.
As soon as the character hits land/air again, it will revert back into the Time Net.
The Net itself shoots from the front of the device, much like when using the Wild West Kid.
However there is a time limit for how long the player/character can submerge underwater as a gauge appears and starts depleting as soon as you get in the water. If you stay below the surface for too long as the gauge runs out, the player/character drowns.
Appearence
The Water Net is a simple, small yellow object with white and orange coloring. It has silver-bronze handles that the player can hold onto to for easier control.

Trivia
- The Water Net is one of the few Gadgets that has no difference for Yumi, in comparison to the others. It has virtually remained unchanged throughout all of its appearances.
- As the Water Net cannot be equipped and automatically equips when the player jumps into water, it is the only gadget that does not have an icon in the original Ape Escape.
- In Japan, an expansion disk was released for Ape Escape 2 called the Ukki Ukki Disk. Doing the slide puzzles on the Ukki Ukki Disk would unlock a bonus gadget called the Saru Buster, which operates much like the Water Net, but can be used on land. While this disk was not released overseas, the Saru Buster can still be used in international versions of the game by playing as Spike.
